Gifts

Before I set off for the vacation this summer, I sent the necklace to W. I told her we couldn’t get into the same twice and hoped to end it completely. The necklace is the prize I won at the annual dinner party. Though W and I knew each other for a while before that party, I guess she started to get the feeling that night. On the other hand, I really didn’t get into that much actually. What I tried to do was just trying to help her out a little and broke the ice. She did accept the birthday card but declined to accept the necklace. Anyway, I don’t want to go back now and ever.

M left to start her own spa and beauty business last week. Her store open yesterday and I sent a message to congratulate her. I told her I would give her a red wine for farewell gift last Tuesday. She asked me for that last Sunday. I did buy the red wine already but I was not sure if I should send it to her. If she made a big deal out of it, my life might be a little miserable. Since people talked about to send her a gift for the grand opening this afternoon, I said I would give the red wine for that matter.
